Today's project was to determine the total length of all gravel roads within 5 Kms of Cheslatta Trail. We use the following shapefiles: Trim_transportation_lines;stellatenproject (trails) and ttrnlin (trim codes). The first step is to find the Chestlatta trail using the Select by Attributes a) Layer >stellatenproject b) Method >create a new section. c) "name" = 'Chestlattati" and the second step is to Select by Location a) I want to select features from > the following layers >trim_transportation_lines b) that > are within the distance of c) the features in this layer >stellaquoprpject d) Apply a buffer to the features in Stellaquo_Project of: > 5 kilometers and press Okay.Part 2 - will finish next week.
